The Old Ways
Call of Cthulhu – Down Darker Trails (Weird West)

Rumours are rife in the border town of San Rafael, Texas. The whisky-soaked outlaws in the Black Rose Cantina mutter darkly about the walking dead, of corpses drained of blood, and half-glimpsed monstrosities lurking in deep canyons. But that's not why you're here: Old Man Thompson is assembling a posse to clean up La Hacienda de las Flores, a grand mansion recently overrun by ‘unsavoury types’. Word is, he’s paying in Spanish gold, and paying well. You ride tomorrow at dawn.

Hole in the Sky!
Dungeon Crawl Classics

Remember the good old days, when adventures were underground, NPCs were there to be killed, and the finale of every dungeon was the dragon on the 20th level? Those days are back!  Return to the glory days of fantasy with the Dungeon Crawl Classics (DCC) Role-Playing Game. Adventure as 1974 intended, with modern rules grounded in the origins of sword & sorcery. Fast play, cryptic secrets, and a mysterious past await you…

The Lady in Blue, a mysterious figure of cosmic power, enlists a band of simple peasants for a strange task.  They are to follow an invisible bridge until they arrive at a hole in the sky – and then jump through.  Death awaits all but the bravest, strongest, and luckiest, but the Lady offers a reward beyond all the riches of the world: the chance to change the very stars these peasants were born under, and thus change their destiny.

DCC is a fast-paced, open-feeling rules set allowing for epic game experiences without unnecessary tethers. It is based on the D&D 3.5 rule set with lots of neat modifications designed to make gameplay more exciting and interesting.  It also uses some additional "funky dice" (d3, d5, d7, d14, d16, d24, and d30) which will be provided for use during the game.  This adventure is a “funnel” in which players have four zero-level characters to lead through the challenge.  Pre-generated characters are provided.

Session: Session 1 (Saturday 9am-1pm)

Safety Warning: PG – contains fantasy violence.

Awakening
Nibiru

What do you remember?
Do you remember Bright Town USA, idyllic middle American small town. A place where kids ride around on bikes and people don’t lock their doors. A place to raise a family in peace and enjoy barbecues on the weekend.

Or do you remember the Skyless Lands, where you came to in a giant dark lake. Where gravity crushes you down, trying to push you below the water. Where people huddle around bioluminescent fungi as power ebbs, threatening darkness and cold. Where the world is running down, ebbing, slippingaway into ruin.

What do you remember and what will you be remembered for?

Awakening is a scenario for Nibiru, the sci-fi game of lost memories. Players take on the role of Vagabonds, amnesiacs with special abilities in a giant space station whose purpose is long forgotten. You can make great change in the Skyless Lands but there are those who hunt and exploit your kind. Tread carefully as you try to work out who you are and why you are here.

Hornet, a well-known fixer, is assembling a crew to clean up another Edgerunner's mess.  If this gig goes well, it could be your ticket to the big leagues.

It was supposed to be a simple smash and grab solo op targeting the Red Chrome Legion, a notorious neo-fascist hate gang.  But while in transit on the way back out of the Combat Zone the package (and carrier) has gone missing, last pinged in territory controlled by another gang: the Neon Blades.  And if that's not enough, agents from the megacorp Militech have been seen sniffing around as well. Your job is to retrieve that package by any means necessary and do it fast before someone else nabs it.

The Wolf Knights
Game System: Knight 2nd Edition

Knight is a game about romantic chivalry, where you play knights in stories similar to that of those of King Arthur and the knights of the round table - but the game is more than that, as your knights house and the stories of their family are integral parts of the game, and players take on not just the roles of the main characters but help build the world on a shared map and tell tales about the world.

In this game we will begin two years after the betrayal of the High Queen Rhiannon PenLlew, and the land of Avalon has fallen into chaos and anarchy. You and your fellow knights are hunting to put meat on the table for the feast, when you chase a white stag past foxglove and hawthorn, and see a lioness cub surrounded by wolves...

The Zed Factor
Shadowrun 6E

When magic returned to the world in 2011, everything changed. Dragons appeared, some lucky people underwent magic awakening, babies were born that resembled dwarves, elves and orks. Generally, the world turned out to be much weirder than anyone suspected.

But as much as things change, some stay the same. Multinational corporations have the same legal status as governments but a hell of a lot more power and money. With one notable exception: ever since a swirling, permanent manastorm cut Sydney off from the rest of the world, the Sydney Metro Council assumed control and all but declared independence from New South Wales, Australia, or anyone else who might claim the vast wealth of magical weirdness going on inside.

But you and I know better. Where there’s profit to be made, those chasing it aren’t far behind. Either openly, or in the shadows. The only people officially crossing the manastorm paid their way on the armoured, environmentally sealed convoys going south but somehow you made it in. And now it’s your turn to run the shadows of 2080’s Sydney.

Watch your back. Shoot straight. Conserve ammo. And never, ever, cut a deal with a dragon.
